India

The country that I would like to go is India. Actually, I would love to travel around the world and visit every place of it, but if I have to pick one I will go for India. I think that is such a beautiful place, full of contrast and so rich in cultures. You never came to know it.

From India I know thing like religions, music – they have a very strange music- their casta society, legends … troughs movies and books. They have such a different way of seen the world and life, its o most opposite to ours. If I was there I would like to visit the entire palaces, and go to the market and buy a lot of clothes and accessories – they are so beautiful- and travel by river in a canoe, and go to Bombay and appreciate the technology against the traditions. But not only know the touristic sites, but also visit the reality of the country. A lot of people live in poorness and misery.

Living or studying there would be a fabulous experience, but maybe difficult because of the culture differences. The adaptation into a place like this most takes years. Anyway, it’s a fantastic country to visit and I would love to go there J

first term ever

The last term it was my first one at the university. I started my sociology career and until now it has been a good experience. Actually, I like my career a lot. I think it was a good decision to make.

As we are just started we just learned the basic stuff of sociology. I learned, for example, a little bit about each of three sociology fathers: Durkheim, Weber and Marx. Also I studied psychologist, anthropology, history and about how an investigation is constructed. I really didn’t have much free time, studies can truly consume you. Despite that, I think it’s important conserve time for oneself, other way you can stress out. That’s why I tried to go to the gym, and get out with my friends as much as I possibly could. Always that I had some free time I call a friend to watch a movie or to go to eat some place. Even I was the most of the time studying; I still spend time with my family, who was very understanding. According to that, enter to the university makes me face a lot of challenges, but the most important was to equilibrate my personal life with my studies. In order to reverse the last term situation, this term I took Pilates and I’m going to the gym. Also I reserved a day of the week to go out with my friends and I’m reading book that I really enjoy. My first 2010 term was good, and I hoping this one to be excellent.
